It was quite lengthy, but overall just a short and sweet interview asking about my experience and skills. The interview itself did not last long but the management was nice and respectful to me the entire time.

They asked me a few straightforward questions about my availability, why I wanted the job, and whether I’d worked in a team before. They also asked how I would help a customer who needed assistance on the shop floor. None of the questions felt difficult — it was more like a friendly conversation than a formal interview.

They asked me why I wanted to work at Tesco. It was a really straightforward question, and it felt easy to answer because I just talked about wanting steady work, enjoying practical tasks, and liking the idea of being part of a team.
Great, I really enjoyed my interview and my interviewer was very knowledgeable and helpful. I didn’t get the position this time around but I would certainly apply for similar jobs here in the future.
