      Entretien

I applied for the position online, got a response immediately via email to set up a time to chat for about 15 minutes. The call ended up coming a few minutes late, no biggie, but this made the rest of the call feel very rushed and unimportant to the fact that I too have a job that I have to take time off from. Right off the bat, I could feel that this wasn't going to be a fit for me, even though this was my dream job and the company sounds pretty interesting. Some of the questions were worded in a way that sounded insulting to my intelligence, experience and education. I think the questions were ok, but the way they were presented set an immediate negative tone that completely turned me off from wanting to continue. Other questions that were presented were about the company (partly owned by Expedia/Trip Advisor), and most answers can be found on their website, so research before your call. I was also told I had to email them my answers to a business case, it felt a lot like a marketing course, but was kind of interesting and I learned a lot. Just be aware that since they are owned by a large, very well known company, they will ask those ridiculous interview questions because they can. At the end of the call, I was given the case questions and it was explained to me that if they like my answers then they will invite me for FIRST round interviews. Sorry, I just thought that you would give these kinds of cases during the first or second interview, and not an initial phone screening. I decided to not continue with them, this would have taken too much time for what seemed like a mid-entry level position.
