There was a pretty average phone conversation with the recruiter that genuinely seemed to be heading in a positive direction but, once you get to the tail end of that, it becomes abundantly clear that this company is mostly a bunch of college kids giving themselves fancy titles they would never hold anywhere else. The party boat pictures on Glassdoor seem to confirm this. TruckSmarter's interview process is just rote repetition of the only thing the kids in charge have experienced themselves in their one or two years in the industry--namely a contrived LeetCode hazing ritual they expect you to dedicate an hour and a half to before you are allowed to even meet the hiring manager. I said no thanks because I'm not 19 years old anymore. I honestly really liked the recruiter but his hands are firmly tied to whatever the CTO's able to cope with. At this particular moment in time I would say this gig is for early career folks only.
