Awful, unprofessional experience. I was contacted on LinkedIn about a role and after a bit of back and forth settled on a time to speak. I cleared my afternoon the following day because I was excited to speak with Uber. Literally three minutes before we’re supposed to speak, the recruiter contacts me telling me he wants to reschedule for the next day. Fine. Stuff happens. I clear my calendar for the following afternoon. The time comes and...nothing. I wait an hour; nothing. I send a follow up email...nothing. Out of the blue at 10pm the next day I get an email from the recruiter not even addressing the fact he’s been out of touch or that he missed two appointments already asking if I can make time the following day (only a few hours from that point really) to speak. So to recap: unprofessional, disorganized, disrespectful. If that’s any indication of how they treat you when they’re trying to woo you and get you to join them, imagine what it’s like once they no longer need to try to impress you!
