I applied online and got a response from a recruiter within a week. After successfully passing a recruiter screen and a peer interview, I was given a case study to prepare at home for round three. The case study was very difficult. It required a research about a particular emerging domain as well as completing a product design part. I am new to the industry, but I was willing to take on this challenging task. The actual interview went ok. I knew I wasn't getting the job, but I also had a clear understanding that my interviewers did not have enough expertise and product experience to make decisions at this stage. I feel like they have never done product design exercises themselves. They lacked empathy to understand that candidates who were newer to the industry might not know the specifics of their products. Follow up questions that I was getting had nothing to do with them trying to assess my product management skills, they were honestly quite generic and led to nothing but derailing me from my presentation, and I ran out of time. After the interview, I had to follow up twice about next steps or feedback, and I ended up hearing back with a rejection after one month. No feedback, but they said that they decided to go with a candidate who had experience in the filed. I really wanted to like this process, but in the end, I am quite disappointed with how poorly everything was handled

Question 1
Case study on how to build a new product and grow it to other markets
Applied for a Senior Product Manager role and completed detailed screening questions via email before being invited to a recruiter screening call.
The conversation quickly shifted away from the role I had applied for and towards a vague "potential" future opportunity that couldn't be clearly explained. We even discussed a possible salary range, but there was no job description, no defined role, and no concrete next steps.
I was told I would need to apply if the role became available.
The whole experience felt more like a pipeline conversation than a genuine screening for the advertised position. If a role is no longer available or the discussion is exploratory, I'd much rather know that upfront.
Candidates invest significant time preparing, and clear expectations would make for a much better experience.
Unfortunately, I received no follow-up or update.

Question 1
Describe your experience in large-scale initiatives.
Everyone was lovely, but long process. Talent acquisition team out of Singapore are hard to get hold of, you don’t get contact details which makes it hard to follow up.

There were four interview rounds—peer, associated team, hiring manager, and senior director—each lasting about 30 minutes. The interviewers were punctual, patient, and friendly, making the process itself positive. However, it has been nearly a month with no follow-up from HR, which significantly impacted the overall experience due to the lack of closure.
