Recruiter interview was smooth and responsive but hiring manager was immediately dismissive and unengaged. Felt like I was a DEI checkbox and they had no intention of filling position with a white cis-male.

Entretien
I was given sufficient information beforehand to prepare for the interview, including general details about the process and expectations. They initially contacted me via email to arrange a suitable time, and once confirmed, they provided additional information about Wikimedia, including a helpful introductory video.
The interview questions were relatively straightforward and competency based. It was explained that the process would involve multiple stages with different stakeholders, including the Vice President, members of the team, and the hiring manager.
The interview itself went very well in my opinion, and I felt confident I would progress to the next stage, as I was informed that my application would be passed on and that I would be contacted with next steps.
However, I did not hear back within the expected timeframe. After following up, I received a generic rejection email without detailed feedback.

Long process 1st Interview - Recruiting Team 2nd Interview - Hiring Manager 3rd Interview - Culture Interview with peers for the role 4th Interview - Technical Interview with Team Members 5th Session Recruiter advised that they will get back once the Hiring manager gets back. Went silent after that with no response to follow-up emails.
