This has been honestly the best interview process I have ever had. I have since updated this review to include, that I did not get an offer extended.
One of the main themes in the reviews of current employees have surrounded the culture. Through every interview I had- you could see it in action. They made me feel like I mattered. They welcomed me as if I was already part of the team. Anytime I asked why they chose Zillow- their faces would light up the room. The process was virtual but you get what I mean! 🤗
The process consisted of meeting with a recruiter, then a hiring manager, and then the team, which was four. Each of those were thirty minutes, and I enjoyed every minute. I truly enjoyed the collaboration, and as I said, they all made me feel comfortable. Each interview added more reasons as to why I want the opportunity. My only feedback for improvement on the process is, during the 30 minute team interviews- there is not a lot of time extended to the candidate for their own questions. I had one interviewer who seemed rushed, and potentially disinterested but I understand balancing day to day and an added interview can be a stressor. No hard feelings, we are human.
I requested feedback, and unfortunately, those requests went unanswered. I would have hoped after six interviews, a candidate that went through such would have the kindness extended to have been provided reasoning for not moving forward and areas for improvement.
However, I stand firm this was a great experience. I truly adored everyone I met, and they are a phenomenal team. I have no resentment towards the process, just sad I was not selected. I had so many ideas to elevate their partnerships. Here is to hoping I can come and wave my magic wand and turn things into gold!
