Allow us to introduce Isabelle Pelletier, Staff Scientist in our Upstream Process Development (PD) department. Where do we begin—Isabelle has been an integral member in translating the benefits of our new iCELLis technology in our Rockville, MD facility; starting with her enlightening presentation at one of our company-wide meetings. Since then Isabelle was designated to lead the implementation of the iCELLis system in ABL’s newly built GMP suites for PD and GMP biomanufacturing groups. Isabelle was part of the multifunctional group that was overseeing the facility requirements, shipping/receiving, consumable needs, equipment commissioning, and more for ABL’s iCELLis suites. Once the equipment was brought up into the suites, she was responsible for the coordination of the commissioning/installation and training for all three systems—iCELLis Nano, iCELLis 500 and Xpansion system. She also set up training sessions for these systems with our PD and manufacturing groups, and requiring massive preparation. Thank you Isabelle for all you do moving ABL closer to commercialization!
