For IMPACT Day this year, our teams paddled down rivers to clear litter; cooked traditional Hungarian lecsó for unhoused community members; leveraged power tools and gardened equipment to create local resources; and much, much more. Each year, our global employees give back to the communities where we live and work. It's an important part of our company culutre that employees at all levels participate in.
It's awards season, and we recently received recognitions across community engagement, performance and sustainability. Prologis earned a place on Newsweek and Statista’s inaugural America’s Most Charitable Companies list, informed by thousands of voices and backed by data on volunteering, giving and sustained community engagement. Fortune also included Prologis on its World’s Most Admired Companies list for 2026, recognizing continued strength in innovation, leadership and long-term performance. And for the 15th consecutive year, Nareit honored us with its Leader in the Light award, the industry’s top recognition for sustainability leadership. The program evaluates how companies embed environmental stewardship into operations, from energy and emissions to how buildings are designed, developed and managed over time. Taken together, these recognitions reflect the range of ways our teams engage in our communities, in our work and across the business.
For Women's History Month, our markets planted their own versions of the Leadership Empowerment Alliance @ Prologis' theme, "Women Shaping a Sustainable Future." Activities ranged from building Tree Walls filled with quotes, stories and small promises to taking time to "Taco Bout Sustainability." Other offices swapped seeds, participated in e-waste recycling and arranged repurposed, locally sourced flowers and bamboo to symbolize growth and nurturing what you plant. Our team in Singapore participated in LEAP's celebrations for the first time this year, the pivotal role Nyonya women have long played in preserving and passing down skills, traditions and knowledge across generations. A webinar brought LEAP members together with Allison Schweizer, Director of Global Energy & Sustainability Programs, who shared practical insights on bringing sustainability into everyday decisions, followed by a live Q&A. LEAP members also supported Days for Girls International, an organization expanding access to women’s health education and resources for girls in communities worldwide. Increased access helps reduce missed school days and opens the door to more opportunities ahead.

This year, we made the inaugural Where You Work Matters list, formerly known as the American Opportunity Index, earning Gold in the Stability category for strong pay and retention. We create an environment where people choose to grow their careers over time. That consistency strengthens our teams, builds experience across the business and keeps raising the bar. Our teams bring fresh thinking to complex challenges, keep customers at the center of every decision and turn ideas into real results. That mindset drives our success and keeps us moving forward. This award is a reflection of the choices we make to build a culture people want to be part of.
Fast Company has named us one of the Most Innovative Companies of 2026. Innovation starts with our teams dreaming up new ways to design smarter building systems and connect our spaces to the neighborhoods we call home. Big ideas set the direction, while smaller, unexpected details bring each site to life. That includes many thoughtful decisions, including our approach to building materials or when we choose to install public art that adds character to an area.
Across regions and time zones, our teams marked the Lunar New Year in ways that reflect both local tradition and global community. Lion dances wove through mandarin trees at our Singapore office and across our China offices and customer properties, where Cai Qing rituals shared wishes for health and a thriving year ahead. In Singapore, employees gathered around a Yusheng platter for a lively Lou Hei toss and cleared out the old from their desks to make space for the new. And our colleagues in China and Charlotte, North Carolina, gathered over freshly made dumplings, a symbol of reunion and prosperity. In the United States, Chicago mixed up milk teas and zodiac predictions for the Year of the Horse. The Inland Empire team shared childhood memories of lucky envelopes and decorated bookmarks with wishes for the year ahead. Houston added trivia, fortune cookies and red bracelets symbolizing protection and positive energy. Many of the celebrations were supported by members of the Asian Leadership Network (ALN) employee resource group, who helped share cultural context and traditions across offices.
This Black History Month, teams across our markets came together to honor their roots! Month-long learning challenges, high-energy trivia and cultural experiences brought this year’s theme to life. Our teams gathered around tables filled with food from Black-owned restaurants, pairing shared meals with interactive learning experiences. And in our Silicon Valley office, our Black Industrial Leadership Network (BILN) teamed up with the Asian Leadership Network to host a combined Lunar New Year and Black History Month Paint and Sip event, celebrating heritage and connection across communities. BILN members from around the country also joined a fireside chat with Sid Barron, a VP at Asbury Automotive Group who has led real estate, corporate development and manufacturer relations. Barron spoke about building a career through relationships, pulling others up along the way and showing up ready before the room decides who you are. Beyond employee programming and local business partnerships, our BILN employee resource group contributed to UNCF to advance college access, student success, scholarships and programming that helps students reach graduation and thrive beyond college.
For this year’s kickoff, our Mid-Atlantic market took their theme (cultivate and grow) literally. They came together to build terrarium gardens with a local horticulturist. 🪴 What a creative way to start the year, support a local small business and connect as a team. Here’s to planting ideas now that take root all year long. 🌱
