Our annual Thermo Fisher Scientific summer camp in Budapest aimed at supporting colleagues who are working parents during the holiday period kicked off in June. Our first camp of the year saw 35 of our colleague’s children participating in a range of fun activities from the running fruit game, trampoline park, exercises and more! The well-being of colleagues is paramount for us and our summer camps are designed to elevate the colleague experience so that they can have peace of mind while at work knowing their children are being cared for in a safe and healthy environment. We are proud to share that our site in Germering, Germany has reached a significant milestone towards this goal and is the first Thermo Fisher site worldwide to eliminate the use of fossil fuels in its facilities infrastructure. This is the result of many steps, taken over a period of several years, to make the facilities more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. Congratulations to the entire Germering team!
