Avantages

Pouvoir vivre ma passion pour le Coaching de Managers à différents niveaux hiérarchiques. Pouvoir intégrer mon expérience et mes méthodes dans l'évolution du people development de Zalando en Allemagne

Inconvénients

Contrat en CDD pour deux ans remplacement de maternité. Pas de possibilité de recrutement dû à une période de restructuration centrale.

Avantages

No micro management culture (can happen in case of a bad manager, but it's not the overall vibe of the company). Autonomy and trust to do the work. Hybrid remote work.

Inconvénients

- lack of salary transparency leads to obvious injustices. even after reviewing a case and agreeing there is a 10k gender salary discrepancy, no corrective action taken. Shameful - useless HR - top management became less transparent after the pandemic, and is not addressing the many issues the company is now facing. When challenged about strategy transparency or salary increases to compensate for the inflation, the CEO even became angry (!!) at the questions. - now that the company has grown a lot, it's naturally working in silos and it's hard to cooperate with other teams. Any flaw in the process has to go through 20 ppl to be changed, so there's no personal incentive to implement change, as this would require too much efforts for no reward. The timing of the yearly review doesn't encourage long term efforts but rather performative (useless) projects just before the reviews. - ZERO budget for team building. Our Christmas dinner was replaced by volunteering. Ironic!

Avantages

fruit and coca cola lol, your own device lol, discount on the shop (though lots of articles on partner program are not available for discounts)

Inconvénients

With a master degree, 1 year of internship, 1 year seniority in the company, I was paid 1000€ less for 6 months than a new "white male" assistant (with a bachelor degree and no previous experience in the functions). HR did not want to handle it, as managers decide salaries. No compensations or apologies received, management kept talking on how "we should not discuss salaries between colleagues". other than that, they want to have a startup spirit but full of rigid processes, not possible to change or try/test new things, no bottom-top feedbacks, difficulties to be promoted (need to perform 300% above average) as strategy and profit are above personal development but once you are in the top management, it can go fast
