I got my interview by applying online as well as having a connection with someone who worked in the department. There was a 15 minute phone interview with the supervisor and two other employees. After that there was a face to face interview with about 4/5 employees. The supervisor was not present for this interview because the supervisor was ill.

Got an email back about a week after I applied, had a short information session/casual interview over Zoom, then an in-person interview and lab tour with my researcher. Straightforward, communicated from the beginning that it was a position with limited hours that continued over the school year.

I had an initial phone interview with the hiring manager about lab experience and status in school. The on-site interview was a tour of the lab and a few simple questions.

Entretien
I applied online and received an email about a week later asking for a video call interview. I interviewed with 4 of the engineers in the lab and spoke with them for about 25 minutes. I was offered the position a few days later.
