Initially the recruiter had me complete a skill assessment test online. I received an excellent score and a telephone interview was scheduled for a particular date and time. The telephone interviewer called 2.5 hours later than was scheduled. She was rude and left me with the impression that she had better things to do. At the end of the interview she basically let me know that she was not interested in me for the position. I informed my recruiter and thanked her for her time. Two days later my recruiter contacted me to let me know that a different onsite manager wanted to meet with me. That interview went much better. It turned out the second interviewer was taking over the position of the first interviewer. Regardless, soon after I was offerred the position with a caveat: initial hiring for that division is on a temporary basis. For six weeks you work as a temporary employee, followed by ANOTHER interview and the slim chance you will be offerred a permanent position. I excelled in my position for the six weeks and was offerred the permanent position, but declined it.
