I was contacted by a recruiter, then I had a phone screening with a team lead, then I had a face to face with a front-end team, then I got an offer, then 6 weeks of background checks which included 50 pages of my personal information, then I got the job, then they kept pushing back my start date, then they hired someone else for my position on that team I had been working with for 2 months to get in, then I worked for another team on an unrelated project but still had to sit with the original team.
