A recruiter contacted me and asked if I knew Python. When I said yes, I was scheduled to do a coding challenge remotely. After passing that, I was scheduled for a 3 hour, 3 panel interview. The first panel asked me questions about how I would handle hypothetical situations. The second panel asked me about industry buzzwords, although the main interviewer talked about himself and his family for about 3/4 of it. I am not sure what that was supposed to test for. Patience, I guess? They walked me out after that panel. The person who led me out said that my Python was not important for this position, they were looking for knowledge of Java. Bullet dodged.
