J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Booking.com en juil. 2019
Entretien
I was contacted by HR through Linkedin. As first step we set up an informative call in which I got more information about BookingGo and I had the possibility to present myself. Then I was invited to complete an Hackerrank task.
The Hackerrank task was composed by some technical questions, one SQL exercise and two problems. One of this problem was related to API calls, data structure and algorithm. The second one was optional and definitively more complicated to solve.
After the Hackerrank step I was invited to two conference call interviews of 1 hour each. The first interview was focused on methodologies, behavior and past experiences. The second one was focused on technical skills, coding questions, network and system design.
Finally I had the possibility to talk with another Senior Software Engineer in my possible future team about technologies, frameworks, past experiences.
The interview process was fantastic and well conducted by HR: I was always informed in time about the status of the interview and the results. The final offer, considering technologies, salary and benefits, was good, but unfortunately I had to decline for personal problems.

I recently interviewed with Booking.com for a software engineer role. The process was well-organized and took about 3–4 weeks. It started with an online assessment on HackerRank with a couple of LeetCode medium problems. That was followed by a technical screen where I did live coding and discussed basic algorithms. The final round was a full day of back-to-back sessions: algorithmic coding, system design (something like designing a hotel availability checker), a behavioral round using STAR questions, and a chat with a manager about company values. The interviewers were professional and friendly, and the problems felt relevant to Booking's actual business. On the downside, some coding rounds felt repetitive, and I didn't get much feedback after being rejected. Overall, it was a fair but challenging process. My advice: practice medium-level array and hash map problems, review basic system design, and have solid STAR stories ready. I'd rate it 4 out of 5 stars and would recommend it to other engineers.
