      J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez CBRE

      Entretien

      First interview was with an HR Representative via phone. Second and final interview was with the Hiring Manager. I was told there was no particular timeline for filling the position, and I only asked that the Hiring Manager know if I was not selected. After two weeks of hearing nothing, I emailed the Hiring Manager directly to see if they could provide me with an update regarding the position, no response. I waited another two weeks and left a voicemail for the HR Representative, and still - no response. Completely unprofessional to not respond to a finalist for a position. I will not be putting an application in to this company again - who would want to work for a company who supports these practices? Not to mention the implications regarding total lack of communication - if you can’t tell a finalist that they were not selected for a position, what aren’t you communicating to your employees? Judging by other reviewers, this seems to be relatively common.

      Very easy, basically just asked about my background and experiences, nothing they couldnt learn from the resume. It was very brief, under 20 minutes. They thought I was overqualified near the end of the interview which was odd as a recent graduate

      Easiest interview I have ever had. Granted I was overqualified for the position but still. The interviewer was more concerned I was too qualified and would leave soon after accepting the position.

      I appreciated that the hiring manager scheduled the interview so as not to interfere with my current work schedule, and that he kept in touch with me for a few weeks thereafter, but that's where the positive experience ended. The interview process was minimal. I had a short in-person interview with the hiring manager where we briefly discussed my job history, but really did not go into any depth regarding my skills and abilities. I was told to expect calls the following week to schedule two phone interviews: one with the hiring manager's manager, and another with an employee performing this role at another location. It seemed odd to have an in-person interview before phone interviews, but the other interviewers are out of area so I went with it. I also received feedback from the hiring manager that I was the most qualified candidate for the position. For the next couple weeks I received email updates from the hiring manager, ensuring me that the other interviews would be scheduled soon, but there had been a delay as the hire date was not yet set. Then he completely ghosted me! A month later I received the form rejection email; nothing from the hiring manager himself. I was later informed, by another source, that the reason for not moving forward with my candidacy is my familial relationship with an employee of the company for whom CBRE was providing this support/position, even though there are other employees currently in that exact position (one family member works for the main company and the other family member works for CBRE).
