Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Chevron (Houston, TX) en mai 2009
Entretien
Interview process was very well structured, as expected from a 60,000+ person company. All interview questions were behavior-based. No technical questions. I went through two rounds of interviews before being offered a position. One was on-campus, the other was on-site at Chevron's New Orleans' office. Interview candidates should review standard interview questions as described by managertools.com, as Chevron heavily uses these types of behavioral questions.
Questions d'entretien [2]
Question 1
Describe a time where you have faced conflict in either your personal or professional life, and detail how you solved that conflict.
3 rounds, 2-3 interviews each round. Blend of finance, accounting, and Commercial acumen. Will ask you standard behavioral questions as well. “Tell me about a time…”
No trick questions; pretty straightforward.
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Chevron (Houston, TX)
Entretien
Started with a building tour of the downtown Houston location after checking in with security. Did not have to wait long to meet with liaison.
A large room full of people. Largest panel for an interview I've ever encountered. At least 8 people which was very intimidating.
Discussed my experience and resume first. People took notes. Then the first panel speaker presented a work scenario. Others chimed in to clarify the scenario and but it was hard to categorize the scenario in order to answer.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Presented a work scenario and asked what steps I would take to resolve.
The first interview was a phone interview. 2 weeks later, I went in for in-person interview. Questions were straightforward: behavioral, systems I had used previously, career walkthrough, hobbies etc.
