I applied for the Controls Engineer role back in July. After 4 weeks, I got email from Diageo that they are discussing my application with the hiring manager. After 5 weeks, I got another email to setup my interviews. As I was not available for Physical interview, So I requested Diageo HR to conduct my interviews remotely. They were kind enough to accept my request and arranged time for my remote interviews. After 10 weeks of applying, I had my 2 back to back interviews with the Hiring Manager and Human Resources Manager. The details of both interviews are as follows; Hiring Manager Interview: The interview was very organized and professional. The outline of the interview was explained to me at the start of the interview by the hiring manager. There were some technical questions but most of the questions from Hiring manager were to test and see the Leadership, Management, Team Player and Presentation skills. For every question, I had to provide example from my previous industrial experience. At end, I was given time to ask questions. Through-out my interview, Hiring Manager made me feel comfortable and encouraged me to ask questions. The duration of the interview was strictly kept to the duration mentioned by the HR team during my interview appointment setup communication. HR Manager Interview: Same outline was also followed by the HR manager and the interview was highly professional and organized. The duration of the time was strictly followed. I was offered the job after 3 weeks of the interview date through Call which I accepted. I would like to mention here that I was kept updated about every step of my application processing through-out these 3 weeks which is very professional on Diageo's part. I would also like to mention here that the HR of Diageo worked in highly professional way. They kept me updated about my application status from the date of my application to the day I was offered the job. In conclusion, I have to say that interviewing with Diageo has been my best experience of my professional life. I feel that I have made some special professional connections with the HR department of Diageo which will last a life-time !
