I found the process very informative and encouraging; everyone that I spoke with was excited about Lyft's mission and there seemed to be an equal emphasis on ensuring the right cultural fit as well as that I have the skills for the job. Most importantly, everyone seemed equally interested in this being the right fit for me personally as well as for the company.
This was the process:
2 phone screens - first with a recruiter, second with the hiring manager.
1 written critical thinking exercise.
2 virtual interviews with team members working out of state.
1 on-site interview with 6 people, mostly stakeholders and partners for the role.
