Worst interview process I have ever experienced! No respect or commitment to the person applying for the job!
I have been booked via email for two phone interviews via WE Recruiting Associate /
GTA – Operations Team in Ireland.
On the first interview nobody showed up so I took a contact with recruitment team and they told me that person who should attend interview with me is having technical issues and they want to schedule new time for this interview. Same happen again and again... At least 5 times I have been waiting in empty Skype for Business meeting room with nobody showing up or sending update.
Finally they was able to reach out via phone, but it was even worse as first interviewer was stressed and had no time and promised to get back to me once she has time (that never happened), while second one interviewer seem to have no interest of doing interview at all - quick interview with no in details questions.
I am giving up on Microsoft! They have wasted my time and my time is not cheap.
I have 4 offers from other major IT companies and I had amazing interview experience with all of them!

The whole process was very smooth!
Started off with a 30 minute phone screen with a recruiter. You must be ready to talk about your reason for Microsoft, also be ready to break down technical terms into simplistic explanations. Should they decide to move forward, you would be invited for an onsite interview.
The onsite consists of 3 very subjective interviews where you would be making a 10 minute presentation of any topic of your choice in one of the interviews. The reason I said the interviews are subjective is because I was expecting behavioral interviews but my first interview was fully technical. I also had to whiteboard (pseudocode however). I was tested on what was on my resume so be fully prepared to defend your resume in its entirety.
My second interview was where I did my presentation. My advice for a topic is one in which you can demonstrate technical knowledge and passion simultaneously. I knew my interviewer enjoyed the presentation and the rest of the interview was very smooth.
My third interview was a case study style. A lot of scenarios of working with clients and having to resolve issues. Tip: Utilize the whiteboard and show structured thinking in however you come up with an answer/recommendation.
