J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Microsoft (Hyderâbâd) en juil. 2010
Entretien
It was a lengthy process (8 rounds) with no clarity of what the management was looking it. Inspite of repeatedly asking about the competency requirements, the recruiter was not open enough to share. May be she had no clue.
In my opinion, if I interview Bill Gates for so many rounds, I will find a reason to reject him as well. So I knew I am not a fit there even before they got back to me.
Quite a gaseous place
J'ai passé un entretien chez Microsoft (Seattle, WA)
Entretien
I interviewed for a manager role at Microsoft through a structured, multi-stage process. The interviews focused on leadership style, problem solving, and cross-team collaboration. Each interviewer asked behavioral questions tied to real scenarios, and the overall experience was professional, organized, and fairly challenging.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to lead a team through a difficult decision when there was disagreement among stakeholders. How did you handle it and what was the outcome?
Spoke with a recruiter about my background and learned about the structure of the company and what they were looking for in the role. Had time for questions from me and wanted to hear specifics about my background.
