The first thing was to talk about the recent projects I've been working on and ask a few in-depth questions. Then they introduced the recent projects they were working on and the direction they wanted to go.

Two interviews: one research brainstorm to discuss how I would design experiments for a company project, and discussing my research style (how do I keep track of experiments and results) + a second interview debugging and answering questions about a PyTorch training loop.
