Entretien
Applied online and completed online numerical reasoning test. Invited to assessment centre straight after (although some other applicants went through a phone interview first, not sure why they didn't do the same with me). AC consisted of: three interviews of which one was with an MD, group exercise, numerical test, individual presentation.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
An FT 6AM cut article was presented to us, and after 20 minutes we were all required to present about what was going on in the major world markets and conclude with a suggestion as to what to invest in.

Entretien
-Telephone Interview -
Competency-based ; CV back-up ; Briefly describe one recent financial story that grabbed your attention
-Assessment Center -
3 x 1:1 interviews : 1. TECHNICAL - what drives the market, knowledge about options, MS's strategy 2&3. MOTIVATIONAL/INNOVATION - why MS, why PB, describe a situation when you proved leadership skills/problem-solving skills, explain CV experience, etc
INDIV PRESENTATION: some summary on the global market indices of the previous month, together with some relevant political events...had to summarize it in 10 minutes (with the advice of not focusing only on the article and add thoughts/knowledge of my own) and then advice the interviewer on what investment decisions he should take as a consequence.
GROUP EXERCISE (4 members): think of 3 business ideas each and decide upon 3 with your colleagues in about 30 minutes, then present it to the interviewers in max 2 mins - so 30s each; They'll ask you questions at the end, so if they are criticizing parts of your business idea and suggest different solutions, do not jump to contradict and show your openness to constructive criticism :)
NUMERICAL TEST: 20 q's, same difficulty as online tests, one disadvantage: they won't tell you how much time left, so bring a watch :)
