I applied over linkedin and received a call from a recruiter the next day for a basic phone interview. She said she thought I was perfect for the job and explained the process I would need to go through in order to get an in person interview. I completed each thing she asked for which was a personality test, 10 key test, 1 min typing test, credit check, an excel test, and then finally math and reasoning in the Paycom building before I could do the interview. During the entire process, which was about 11 days, I was in contact with the corporate recruiter who at each step became more reassuring that the job was mine. By the time I passed the math and reasoning on the day of the interview she had told me to wait for the interviewer, but based on my results I had the job and if for some reason it didn't work they would find me another position, in which I could work up from. I went to a room in the lobby and waited for my interviewer who came in and held a standard interview going over my resume and goals with the company. This eventually led to the end of the interview where he began explaining what I would work during holiday season, salary, and benefits. As he walked me out we exchanged pleasantries and he said the recruiter I was in contact with would be calling me next... I left on cloud nine. The next day at 6:30pm I received a standard rejection automated email from hrpaycom (not from the recruiter). The email was something you would see if you had just applied online and got a rejection email a day or so later.... NOT someone who had put in hours of work completing all their steps, days of waiting, and the half day spent at the paycom office. This practice is insulting. I do not recommend that anyone puts time into applying here. Why would you want to work for a company that so clearly doesn't respect its possible future employees or current employees?

Very easy and professional! I liked getting to meet several different people during this process. This made it more personable for my experience. I also liked the quick line of communication throughout everyone I have spoken with at Paycom.
