I applied for the internship through my college career center. I had to send in my resume along with a cover letter. I was selected for an interview and interviewed on campus. The interview consisted of a number of behavioral questions as well as work experience questions. The hardest question was to describe an ethical dilemma that I have faced while on the job. The interview took roughly 30 minutes and seemed to go well, but I never heard back from them. They were unresponsive to follow up emails. I got the impression that the company requires long hours and 50+ hour weeks.

A positive interview experience, I value open communication, respect, and kindness from the employer. I appreciate when interviewers involve candidates in discussions, provide constructive feedback, and highlight opportunities for professional development. Understanding the company’s commitment to work-life balance also plays a significant role in my interest.
