      Filled out an online application. Received an email within 5 days to complete an online assessment. The online assessment was fairly straight forward. It consisted of math/logic questions, and a virtual call center where you listen to a few phone calls and input information into a mock system. It's extremely important you listen to what the caller is saying because sometimes there is a follow up question, in my case it was about a tracking number that the customer reads back and had wrong, so you're given a list of responses one of which has the corrected tracking number. After completing the assessment I received an email the same day to move on to the virtual interview. I was given 7 days to complete the virtual interview which consisted of 8 questions (most of which are STAR based). The video interview was impersonal, obviously. You watch a video of a person asking you a question, and you're given the option to record your response with a 3 minute time limit, and one do over if you need to. Most of the questions were ST/AR (Situation/Task, Action, Result), so it pays to have some situations in mind. If you looked at the Progressive website at their sample questions, none of those were asked during the virtual interview. So, you may want to look up some examples elsewhere that focus on communication, disagreements with customers or supervisors/managers, in addition to time management/planning. After completing the virtual interview, I was contacted within 5 days to setup a face-to-face interview. The face-to-face interview was more uncomfortable than the virtual interview because one of the people interviewing me had a very negative attitude from the start. The face-to-face consisted of 5 additional ST/AR based questions, with the option of moving to a different question if the one asked wasn't one you were comfortable with. Out of the two people that interviewed me, one was really engaged in the conversation, and very friendly. The other person was very cold, and just sort of stared without writing anything down, and had a very "Ugh, whatever" type of attitude. The interview was super awkward, and uncomfortable, which is regrettable. With all the research I did on Progressive prior to the interview, I was expecting a lot more than what I got. I ultimately got an email from the recruiter saying I wasn't selected for the position, and offered a 2 hour feedback session to go over the interview. I declined the feedback because I feel like Progressive preaches one thing on their website but delivered a completely different experience once I was there. A job is a job though, just go into it with that mentality and not that you're going to be working with a great company, or group of really nice people because after my experience, that is simply not the case. Between the impersonal virtual interview, and the horrible experience I had with the one hiring manager, I do not recommend Progressive to anyone.

      I applied and was sent an email to complete a 30 minute assessment that must be completed within 6 days. I completed the assessment about 2 hours after receiving the email. Within about 30 minutes of completing the assessment I received an email stating I was selected for a short video interview as soon as possible and submissions are reviewed in the order in which they are received. This is how far I am in the process so far.

      I have not completed the process yet but, first was an online assessment, then if you 'pass' you are moved on to a HireVue video interview which takes about 30 minutes with 8 questions. After the recorded interview, I received an email to schedule another online interview but live with the leadership team.
