Filled out the online application. Next day I received an email of the online skills assessment. The assessment was pretty easy, took about 45 minutes to complete. The day after taking the assessment I got an email asking to complete a video interview. The recorded interview had 8 questions and they needed to be answered in STAR format. If you’re unsure what that is just google it or look on YouTube. There is lots of information on how to answer questions in this format. The recorded interview gives you the ability to re-record your answer if you didn’t like it. I didn’t redo any of my answers and sent in my interview with me being myself, laughing and all. As long as you answer the questions in the STAR format and are honest you should be fine. About two days after I sent in the video interview I got a request from the recruiting team to set up a Skype interview with one of the claims managers. It was sort of strange interviewing in my spare room but it was a simple interview. Asked me a few questions about my work history and then spoke about the job. All in all a very simple interviewing and applying process. I asked my interviewer when I would hear something back and he told me that while he can’t offer me any positions he was definitely going to recommend me. This was a Friday afternoon at 4pm. Monday morning at 10 am I got a call from the recruiting team offering me the position. From application to offer was probably about 2 weeks.
