Step 1: Assesment - three parts; IQ test, personality test and simulated type situations you might encounter "on the job." The IQ test was easy; lots of complex words and math computations. A great deal of % and fraction-type questions. Personality test - well you are who you are... Simulations; very fast computer instructions with multiple tasks. I think there were 4-5 simulations. They weren't too bad.
Part 2: Video Inteview. (Look for other reviews here, there is one that has all the likely questions). There are 8 questions. It's a lot. You do have one chance to redo each question. All I can say is practice the STAR method and be very, very prepared.
Part 3: Virtual interview with Senior HR. This was scheduled for 1.5 hours and we were on the phone for 1 hr, 25 min. I found the recruiter to be very professional and friendly. However, I'm not going to sugar-coat it. It was strenuous. Some questions were STAR questions, and others while not STAR, were still highly challenging. As for preparation, I took a different path. I learned as much as I could about being a Claims Adjuster for the Big Three; Progressive, Farmer's & State Farms (my picks). That was extremely beneficial to me. I cannot emphasize that enough. Much more so than having some canned answers that sound awkward and aren't really what they're looking for. Preparing the way I did, I was able to reflect on my prior experience and tell them throughout the interview WHY I was great fit for the position. After it was over, while it was crazy hard, I totally KNEW I was going to get an offer.
My offer came 48 hourMy offer came 48 hours later on a Friday. Background check started Monday, was completed on Wednesday, and I got the final "good to go" from Progressive on Monday. The whole process, from the day I applied, lasted four weeks, minus one day.
