Submitted my cv and application for a role that was supposed to suit school leavers/ people looking for a change/ people without degrees. I was then asked to complete 3 assessments. I got an email saying I’d passed those assessments. I then get an email 12 hours later saying that my skills don’t match the role. It’s a shame that you get people’s hopes up by congratulating them on passing assessments and then decline them with a statement that you cannot offer any feedback.

Competency interview as well as the online numerical and verbal assessment. It is more about explaining what have you done in the past and how your experiences would fit into the current position. The interviewing managers were very friendly and professional.
