J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Red Hat (München, Bavaria) en oct. 2021
Entretien
Horrible. A nightmare.
The interview process took over 2 months. 5 rounds in total. After each round, I had to send up a follow-up email and wait 10 days to get a reply.
The interviews went well. The panel gushed how nice I was and how wonderfully I would fit into their team. I was delighted and expected an offer soon.
After a long wait of 2 months and 5 rounds, I get an email saying I am rejected.
Treat candidates like humans. We aren't toys. You need 2 months to tell me I am not selected? Come on.

Entretien
One short interview with the recruiting manager, followed by 2 separate group interviews with 2 existing Red Hat employees familiar with the work. All interviews were virtual.
Standard interview questions, why red hat, tell me about a time you overcame an obstacle, worked in a group, dealt with a difficult coworker, etc etc.

First, the recruiter got in touch with me for some generic assessment (languages, experience) Then, one or two rounds of interviews with managers and a panel to find about my skills and potential In general, all the process was smooth, with clear instructions and expectations.

Entretien
The interviews were very short. 30 min with the hiring manager, sent writing samples, and then 1 hour total with 4 team members. The disappointing part was never receiving a rejection email from a real person. If a candidate makes it through to the team interview, it seems like they should get a recruiter email for rejection, not find out through a status change on the job portal.
