Applied online after which recruiter called in August. First two rounds of interview was conducted in a gap of 2 weeks. Then there were no communication from the recruiter. The recruiter called back after a month in September to schedule the 3rrd round. After the 3rd round, again got deserted by the recruiter. I sent an email asking for an update for which I received no reply. Such kind of process sometime makes me think if they are just conducting the interview for namesake with no actual requirement to hire candidates.

Initial phone screening with hiring manager, followed by a panel interview with two team managers, then a follow-up conversation with the hiring manager to discuss next steps, role fit, and overall candidate alignment.

Screening interviewer looked at my graduation date on CV and immediately said I was over qualified. Proceeded to discuss salary expectations, it was obvious EMEA pay was well under what UK market would pay for role at this level.

What is your salary expectation and what are you currently earning.
There were a number of interviews some scheduled in the same day and across a number of days. They were wrapped up fairly quickly. Most of the questions were about my experience and some were about Kubernetes.
