Applied through an agency in NY who posted the role as “Senior Security & Privacy Engineer”( I sont think they know didference between privacy and security).The agency claimed the base was 180k but I was apprehensive about it from get go. I have freinds here and no way SE could pay this much for an analyst role. Interviewed with the Director and a DPO and they were expecting an expert. Never heard anything back. I think the agency is being played and ao are others—with over 500+ applicants junt on Linkedin. I think we should pass a law where companies are dorced to provide a written reason for selecting/not selecting somebody.
