The whole process was long but thorough. Typical pm questions and a big focus on culture and past experience. Make sure to ask clarifying questions and not speed through your answers.

Entretien
I applied online and a week later received a request for a phone screening. I was told I was the last candidate screened. and that it would be 45 minutes to 1 hour.
The screening manager called and proceeded to talk for 95% of the time, failing to ask me any questions related to the position, or how my experience aligned in the background. Instead, he spoke about himself and how others at Tableau were some of the industry's "best". He admitted that he had not yet spoked to the Hiring Manager about the role on specifics. He told me I was at the top of his list of recommendations, and would call within two business days, good bad or otherwise. I never heard back.
I was quite frustrated. I was excited to be selected for an interview and never had the chance to interview with even the screener! Instead, a callous, selfish individual talked about himself in the brief, but critical period when I was supposed to be selling myself to the company.

Entretien
I received an email the same day I applied, asking for a phone conversation. After the initial phone screen with the recruiter, I had an additonal phone screen with the hiring manager the next week. I was then asked to travel to Seattle for an in-person interview loop with about 8 team members. Everyone I met with did an excellent job of selling the opportunity and reflecting the Tableau culture, as well as giving a realistic preview of what the job would entail. I have since joined the company, and everything I have experienced is true to what I was told in the interview process.
