J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 7 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Tesla (Los Angeles, CA) en oct. 2020

Interview process with employees on the team went very well. Standard interview questions conducted through online Microsoft teams video platform. However, Tesla has an incredibly disorganized and untrustworthy recruitment process. Recruiter would make false promises and ghost follow up email/calls after the fact. Very unprofessional and soured my overall impression of Tesla as a company. I’m very glad I did not receive an offer as I was offered employment with an organized and professional company.

Question 1
What would you do if the two stakeholders that suppose to work together refuse to cooperate
A senior recruiter reached out to me. They asked to talk to me on the phone. We had less than a ten minute conversation before they told me they would put me in touch with the regional manager relevant to the role. A zoom meeting was arranged by email a few days out. I was told to anticipate the whole thing taking an hour. I met with the regional manger, who was very attentive but didn't ask many questions directly, everything was open ended. After half an hour he told me he was going to put me through to a zoom with someone who would be a coworker. I then connected with that person, who didn't seem to really have any pre-prepared questions, but at one point asked me very pointedly and as thought they just remembered they had themselves once been asked this: "what does Tesla mean to you". I talked about climate change and he nodded aggressively. He had apparently been working towards becoming a Tesla employee for 5 years before eventually landing a job with them.
After the calls were over, I emailed everyone saying thank you and that I hoped to hear from them soon. After a few days I followed up. A few more days later I did again. After another week I also shot the senior recruiter a text thanking him for his time. Nothing back from anyone. Never heard anything from them again.
