I have only given the first phone screening interview with a recruiter. The recruiter was the most unprofessional, rude andarrogant people I have dealt in my professional career. She started the call saying she couldn't find her notepad to take notes, she screamed to herself I presume when she kept on shuffling through her desk ( I could hear her). Then she criticized me for my resume writing skills.
Next she asked me to explain my current role. When I started speaking she interrupted me saying I was speaking too fast . She paused and literally reprimanded me "I told you I will be taking notes, I cannot do it because you are speaking so fast." I repeated myself again.
Then she again went back to criticizing how my resume is written. Her next question was why I am looking for a change. When she asked me compensation, I politely requested if she has a range . Her answer was " No I don't have one. I told you. You have to tell me."
Anyway by this point, I wanted to hang up the call because it was an extremely toxic call 15 minutes into the call. She explained what next steps will be (which are pretty standard). There I can ask about job description, etc. I made the mistake of asking her to tell me a little bit about the team ( the job description actually had a brief description, so my assumption is she will know something). Her reply was rude :" I told you I do not know the answer, you can ask in the next rounds if you are selected."
With that, in 20 minutes she was done and the call ended.
I have no idea what the outcome of the interview will be but I do know that I have no desire to work at a place where the vibe is outright toxic. The recruiter was rude and she represented the company in a very negative way. This is not how a person talks to another in their first interaction, let alone a first round interview.
Note to recruiter and company: Please at least show basic mutual respect and courtesy to candidates.

It was a terrible interview process. Made me do several rounds of interviews with a constant rotation of recruiters. Incredibly unprofessional with no updates for months. Only decided to close my application when I followed up. One of the interviewers was also incredibly negative about his experience at Thermofisher Scientific, often commenting, "people here aren't future-forward thinking".
This is bureaucracy at its finest, and I would recommend anyone applying to Thermofisher Scientific to have a 10-foot pole distance from them. They will make you go through a roller coaster for nothing.

Phone screen with the recruiter, then a video call, followed by an on site panel interview. The panel interview had 5 different people in 30 minute blocks, with potential coworkers and HR.
