Don’t attend a Trader Joe’s job fair if you aren’t prepared for an interview. I was under the impression that the job fair would be informational, and I could decide whether or not I wanted to apply later on. Instead, I was greeted by members of their leadership team at a table and directed to sign in. They told me if I hadn’t already submitted an application online, to do so and check back in at the table. After rushing to submit my resume and application, I was called to have an interview. If you’re the kind of person that wants or needs time to prepare for interviews, I highly recommend applying online and preparing for an interview prior to attending a job fair.

It's two to three interviews, the final with the Captain (or highest manager) of the store. The interviews are largely to get to know your personality and how well you would do at customer service.
The interview process was absolutely wonderful! I didn't feel stressed or nervous and it felt like I was just chatting with a friend! Trader Joes is a great company and the interview was great.

Very chill, asked things a lot of job interviews don't, more personal down to earth questions. Made me feel very comfortable. Professional but also cool vibes from everyone who interviewed me. Went to one interview with mates and another with the captain.
