Not very professional, lack of transparent communication. The position was not presented as to what it actually is. Even the title of the position is associated with business development, not purely sales positions.

It was all great and flowing with seamless communication from the recruiter. I advanced to almost the last step and was on track to meet with VP but they needed me to take an assessment first. It was like an SAT prep assessment followed by a behavioral assessment for the role to measure key things such as competitiveness, having goals etc. I had to take the test twice due to technical issue and then I never heard back from the recruiter or anyone from company ever again. Frankly, I felt it was unprofessional, especially since my assessment results were consistent with someone who you would want on your sales team (competitive , goal driven , etc.). The first red flag early on as well was that the recruiter said they had to do some restructuring and was awkward when I asked for specifics…
