The interview process initially consisted of four rounds:
1) Phone screen
2) Editing test
3) Video Interview with the hiring manager
4) In-person interviews with the hiring manager and department head
These four steps took about three weeks to complete. After the last step, I was told I would hear about their final decision. That ended up not being the case. The recruiter told me I needed to take a personality assessment and a cognitive skills test. I did those promptly and had to wait a few days to hear back from the recruiter.
The recruit told me that I had ANOTHER assessment to take. It was a brief writing test where I wrote several social posts. After getting this done ahead of the deadline, I had to wait another few days and follow up repeatedly to finally hear back. I was told they decided to hire an internal candidate to perform the duties and essentially dissolved any need for the role. I waited a whole month and went through a total of four interviews and completed four tests just to get told they ended up not even needing the position. It is beyond insane and unprofessional. Don't waste your time interviewing with TransPerfect.
