J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez UBS (Irvine, CA) en déc. 2013
Entretien
There was hardly an interview process--I was recruited as an intern, then switched over to a full-time staff position.
The whole interview/hiring process took roughly a month and a half. The company moves at a glacial pace and doesn't care if you have impending deadlines (i.e., schools pressuring you to get authorization and proof of internship for class credit).
The questions they asked didn't really pertain to the job--I mostly ended up running the mail, grabbing morning coffee, making copies of meeting presentations. It was all very non-educational but at least I got paid $10/hr.

Mostly behavioral and fit questions, no trick questions, come across as personable since that is a big part of what the job itself is and it will help you get the job
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself/Walk me through your resume
Basic resume questions, they ask about your finance background. Start with an HR screening followed by interview with the Managers. Pretty basic, however no timeline was given. The phone call comes out of no where for screening too so get ready for on the spot.

Question 1
What finance classes did you take in school and what was your favorite
Got brought in by a former manager of mine since she saw on LinkedIn that I was looking for a job. Took an interview with team #1 manager, it went well. Got set up for an interview with team #1. The questions from the team were weird, like “why did you choose your college?” I haven’t been in college for 15 years, so that question seems irrelevant. That team did not hire me.
Manager sets me up with team #2. I only met with this teams manager but everything aligned. The interview went great. This job hadn’t been posted yet and I was the only applicant. She told me to hold for a couple of weeks due to some time off. I reached back out when I knew they were all back in office (from what she told me) and was told more than 48 hours after I sent that follow up that they’re going in a different direction. Huh???
I dont think this company knows what they’re looking for. I was also told it’s a very “conservative” company. Whatever that means.
