4 rounds of interview for an internal role. Mostly professional but the process could have been shorter, given that the reason (or at least the main factor) for rejection was my lack of consulting background. generally, consultants view themselves like a special breed, and if you are not one of them, you immediately start off on the wrong footing

Entretien
First stage was HireVue. Questions involved motivation + behavioural questions, as well as business questions involving UBS.
Second stage was virtual assessment centre, which consisted of a competency interview and commercial interview.
For the competency interview, they went through my CV and asked me to explain in depth about the projects I've completed, as well as asking me some technical ML questions.
For the commercial interview, they asked behavioural questions related to internal consulting.
Final stage was interview with manager, where we discussed more things about my CV.

Explain how XGBoost works, and explain the difference between gradient boosting and bagging.
The interview process typically involves several stages: resume submission, followed by an online assessment, then a HireVue interview, and finally, a Superday consisting of two rounds. The first round covers behavioral questions, while the second round focuses on role-related questions and a mini case study.
