J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez UPS (Atlanta, GA) en mai 2010

      Entretien

I first completed a brief phone screen with HR and was invited into the corporate office for a face-to-face interview. My interview was scheduled for a Monday morning and on Wednesday the week before, the HR person emailed me to say that the time was "likely going to change" and that she would confirm when she knew for sure. I never heard from her again. On Monday morning, I tried calling HR, and I also tried calling the hiring manager directly, though I'd never spoken to her prior. Hearing nothing from anyone, I showed up at the original time and after going through security, they called the hiring manager who admitted that the time had indeed changed and asked if I could come back in an hour and a half. Sure. I arrived back and came to the security desk where my badge and information was supposed to waiting for me. The woman running the desk appeared completely stoned and was very rude to me when she couldn't find my information. Apparently they originally used my full name in the system rather than the shortened version and she got flustered. All this despite the fact that my badge (with my printed face) was sitting right there. Finally, the gentleman beside her took over and figured it out in a matter of seconds. The interview itself was fine. I met with the hiring manager and a Director and both were professional and appeared to be genuinely nice people. After the interview, I heard nothing for two weeks. I had followed up the interview with "Thank You" cards mailed directly to both the interviewers and still had not heard anything. Two weeks post-interview, I sent the hiring manager a quick email asking if she'd received my note and saying that if I could answer any questions, to please feel free to ask. Literally within ten minutes I received a call from HR (the same lady who never followed up with the change in interview scheduling) saying that I had not been selected to move forward with interviews and that I could "...stop sending email to the hiring manager." Angry? Yes. I had sent one email. Just one. I'm sure that the hiring manager did not ask this HR person to say this to me, but that's what was said and frankly, this ruined what was an otherwise good experience.
