First, I applied to Vanguard and got a phone interview. It was right at the end of the phone interview when I found out that I had made it to the second round of interviews in Malvern, PA. There, I had some presentations, was interviewed by two senior members of the crew, and participated in a group case study.
Overall, it was a pretty easy interview process. Just be personable and know what you're trying to say!

Relax phone screening call with basic behavioral questions. Nothing tricky and asked about college clubs. Very nice recruiter but wasn't placed through the next stages unfortunately. I believe it may have been due to the lack of extracurricular as I was a first year student

Talked to a recruiter at an IT specific career day, scheduled a phone interview for a few days later. The phone interview seemed very unorganized. Never before in an interview have I basically been quizzed on my knowledge of a specific programming language for an internship that was supposed to be with big data and cloud teams. The internship description did not match the interview. I was then told I would be contacted with a decision within the next week. Waited a month, emailed the recruited and was informed they were still making decisions and that I would absolutely hear back (either yes or no) by that Monday. Never heard from them and at that point, I did not bother to follow up as I was no longer interested in the position.
