ABL has in-house column packing and qualification facilities and for some clients we pack as large as 20L size exclusion columns. We operate the same systems in PD and GMP such as AKTA pilot to have smooth and reproducible process transfer. Let’s discuss your project needs today! https://ablinc.com/process-development/
Let biomarker analysis serve as your early diagnostic tool for the efficacy of therapeutic interventions. From extensive characterization of inflammatory responses potentially triggered post vaccine/cell or gene therapy administration, to the successful detection of trace amounts of a neural scaffolding protein circulating in the blood, ABL has the right immunology specialists to get the job done. ABL routinely conducts upstream and downstream development and optimization studies for our clients–an essential step towards efficient design of cGMP-compliant manufacturing processes. We draw on our manufacturing and quality expertise to design processes that optimize product yields and minimize regulatory risk. Our PD services include bioreactor optimization and scale-up from Sartorius glass bioreactors (2 and 10 Liters) and STR tank, single use Sartorius bioreactors (50 and 200 Liters). You’re looking at our dedicated iCELLis 500+ suite in our Rockville, MD facility. This industrial scale platform with up to 500m2 is an automated, single-use, fixed-bed bioreactor that provide excellent cell growth conditions for adherent cells. And #DYK it allows us to meet your capacity requirements, streamline scalability and accelerate time to market to save patient lives. Learn more: https://ablinc.com/new-capabilities/
It’s our pleasure to introduce Dr. Rupa Guha, an essential addition to ABL’s Immunology team 🙌 She’s one of our newest members with ABL as an Associate Staff Scientist, but a prime pick indeed. Rupa came to ABL with years of research experience in renowned institutes such as Georgetown University and the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She holds more than 7 years of experience in preclinical drug discovery for various infectious diseases with a Ph.D. in cancer drug discovery. Although, she joined ABL just 8 months ago, she’s already worked towards successful fulfillment of both government and commercial contracts, to client’s satisfaction. Recently, she worked with the immunology and proposal departments to successfully submit an NIH proposal for vaccine development study. Furthermore, Rupa utilized her talents performing assays while participating in a photoshoot 🎥 highlighting specialized immunological testing equipment. Rupa enjoys being creative in her spare time by making oil paintings, clay crafting and cooking fusion foods. She loves to sing & spend time with her family
ABL performs immunoassay and humoral testing in order to characterize the immune responses: via immunogenicity, neutralization and pharmacodynamic responses of candidate biologics. We understand the existence and implications of pre-existing immunity, cross-reactivity and non-specific binding of their target, modulatory effects or possible inactivation of the intended therapeutic effect—our knowledge has a positive impact on patient lives. ABL’s Immunologist routinely use MSD (MesoScale Discovery) QuickPlex SQ120 to characterize the immune response of patient samples. MSD Quickplex SQ120 allows us to provide you with real-time data. Learn more: https://ablinc.com/immunoassay-testing/
