Sartorius has agreed with Sweden-based BICO Group on strategic cooperation as well as a 10 percent capital investment. As part of the partnership, both companies will enter into a research & development collaboration relating to 3D cell printing and associated technologies as well as digital solutions for cell line development workflows. Additionally, Sartorius will become a distributor of BICO products in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. To underline its commitment to the partnership, Sartorius subscribes to a directed share issue equivalent to 10 percent of outstanding shares in BICO prior to the transaction. October 11 marks National Coming Out Day, when members of the LGBT+ community are encouraged to “come out” by sharing their gender identities or sexual orientation with their families or colleagues. Numerous activities are underway even after the campaign day to celebrate the occasion and to raise awareness and understanding. ➡️ Today, several sites in the U.S. participate in a bake sale to support William Way LGBT Community Center while handing out rainbow and trans pride ribbons, stickers, and educational information. ➡️ In the days ahead, several globally available virtual events, such as a book club, an LGBT Talk and even artistic performances are scheduled. The Nottingham, UK-based company is a leader in the field of recombinant albumin-based solutions. Recombinant human albumin is a critical component in the manufacture of innovative biopharmaceuticals, particularly for modalities such as cell therapies, viral therapies and vaccines.
