Avantages
As one of the big 4(maybe 5, or.... 6? whatever) consulting firms, it has great reputation and is a good place to start your career. The campus talk was excellent which absorbed me a lot to consider Bearing Point as the first step in my career path. It has good connection with the local government and state-owned companies, and got a lot of projects from them with high benefit. If you can show your benefit to Bearing Point, then your promotion will be fairly fast. Also, the connection between Bearing Point and Yale Management School is quite tight which means you will have the opportunity to learn in the top B-school, although only 1 week~
Inconvénients
The salary is really NOT competitive comparing with other competitors such as IBM~ Maybe 20% lower comparing with IBM, but better than that of Accenture. Oh Accenture, what a shame on you~ It had the best Oracle ERP team in China - I mean: It had...... Now a lot of experienced ERP consultants in Bearing Point have gone to its competitors, and it becomes to lose its high quality customers. To be worth, it was deleted from the list on the big board, and each customer asks for a description. Personally, I do not know where this ship will sail to.
