We are seeking a Backend Developer to join our growing development team in Bergerac, France.
Working within an Agile Scrum environment, you will contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of software solutions used by airports and airlines worldwide. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, designers, platform engineers, and fellow developers to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services.

Build and support RESTful and SOAP APIs.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.

Create and maintain technical documentation, installation guides, and operational procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment.

Contribute to code reviews, testing, and quality assurance activities.

Support customer deployments and implementation projects when required.

Strong experience with Node.js backend development.

Experience designing and developing RESTful and SOAP web services.

Experience with software testing tools and methodologies.

Strong SQL and database querying skills.

Experience using Git and source control best practices.

Experience working on customer-facing software projects.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Experience in the aviation, airline, airport services, travel, or transportation industries.

Knowledge of Departure Control Systems (DCS), Reservation Systems (RES), or related aviation platforms.

Experience developing backend applications using Java and/or C# (.NET).

Understanding of IT security principles, including:

Experience using Jira and Agile development tools.
This position is based on-site in Bergerac, France.
Occasional international travel may be required (typically 1–3 weeks at a time) to support airport and airline customer deployments, software upgrades, system implementations, and user training.
