J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez AT&T (San Ramon, CA) en juil. 2013

There was an initial written test. Some questions were technical, but most were simple logic problems. I don't think you need to score very high to pass. The next stage was a group interview. It was not really an interview, but more of an info session filled with disclaimers about how hard the job is.

It was a rigorous process that took several days. Prior to interview a knowledge test has to be taken. After passing test, taken to a room to wait until a person conducts one on one interview.
