I had applied online for the position of Management Consultant in their BPLM Practice. I got an email from the recruiter asking for a good time to talk about the position. She talked with me for about 30 mins asking basic details and explained the interview process.
First was the skills/ technical interview it was a good experience, a bit grilling but the interviewer made sure i knew every aspect of the required skill set.
Next came the behavioural around. This was also easy one as I had thoroughly prepared for questions like Describe a situation when you had to do troubleshoot .... Then they started with my background check which took a very long time.
After that case interview was scheduled. It took very long time to get time slot from the interviewer. I felt the interviewer wasnt really prepared. He asked me how far have I reached in the interview process and ab my background, so he cud think what to ask me. I was give a simple case study and then was the focus on change management and governance standards. He explained a bit on where my skills would add value to them. He was very happy with my performance.
I am quite sure that I will be going into the next round which is the partner round, though still to hear on it. All the interviews were over the phone. Sometimes it takes a bit longer to get them scheduled. Overall its a good process and helps you prepare for diverse requirements of job.
The recruiter was in touch with me all this while, she is very helpful and responsed quickly to my queries.
Can someone tell me about the partner round exp ? How is it/ what do they expect ? Also I am based in chicago, is it possible to work in this city only without having to do much of travelling?
