There was an Excel-based case interview where I had to analyse a dataset, identify key trends, and explain my recommendations clearly. The interviewer also asked behavioural questions about project experience, including how I went deeper into a project, handled challenges, and communicated findings to stakeholders.

Applied online and completed an assessment based on the role, and some generic multiple choice/ranking questions. Assessment was quite easy just communicating information back and forth. Completed a “phone screen” interview after that through a zoom call. Motivational question “why this role, why Amazon” followed by a 10 minute Excel case study. Messed it up because of pressure + not reading the question properly, in hindsight the task was simple - mostly just logic + reasoning and knowing how to do simple functions such as basic math operations on Excel. Preparing for it is not necessary, but keeping calm under pressure and clarifying info under pressure is key. This was followed by two basic behavioural questions centered around amazons leadership principles (eg: learn and be curious). Had time for my questions at the end. Overall a good experience, interviewer was friendly and welcoming.
